» Bengaluru University: There are 41 post graduates departments in this university. There are 3 constituent colleges. It has a total of 473 affiliated colleges out of which 88 run the post graduate courses. This university has 6 faculties.
» National Law School of India University: This University is totally devoted towards the studies of law. This university was established on 29 August 1987.
» Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences: This University focuses on health, medical and paramedical studies. The paramedical studies include studies about nursing, naturopathy, dentistry, yoga and even homeopathy and pharmacy.

Technology & Management Institutes
The city of Bengaluru houses some of the top most institutes in technology and management like the Indian Institute of Management, International Institute of Information Technology and Indian Institute of Science. The Indian Institute of Science started in 1909 and is dedicated for research and advanced studies. The IISc is a deemed university.
